This week was a major moment in my recovery. At a burn clinic followup, the Dr. said I was healing like a 20 year old. Next visit in three months. I still can't work because of fragile skin. But, there is nothing like a "could have been worst" experience to remind you how precious and fragile life is. I thank God for my life, for my friends and family and for every little grace in my life.

Shalom Sam, I pray blessings on you in Yeshua!!  I don't celebrate the Christian holidays. I'm a Messianic Jew so I do the feast that Yah called us to observe. I do know what you mean tho about doing the things that are true to Yah. Dealing with folks can be real trying sometimes, But Yeshua has gave us the ability to do the things of Yah if we choose to follow after his ways.Which most believers don't want to do or walk in the ways of Yah. They want to walk their own way and think their doing Yah a favor. I see this in the Hebrew roots movement and it's sad. But people are going to do what they think is right even when their wrong. It just confirms that we're in the last days. Shalom haverim

To all,

7 days later,  are we acting like Easter made any difference in our lives?  This is a good question to anyone who claims to be "spiritual ".  Do the things you claim to be true about God, show up in you everyday dealings with others and in your internal thought/ emotional life?

to all,

Today the Christian world celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  In it we fine hope for today and a promise of eternal live.

The rest of the world should be encouraged, that to the extent Christians live Christ-like lives, Christianity's influence in the world should be for peace and goodwill.

Christian or not, my prayer for all my friends is that the grace of this day overflows into your life and the betterment of all.

Merry Christmas!  My prayer it not that you got what you wanted for Christmas, but that you get what God wants for you.  I've always found that to be the better gift.

A word for Thanksgiving Day 2015

"Find something to be thankful for, then remember who to give thanks to."

From a Christian text... "Every good gift and every perfect present comes from heaven; it comes down from God, the Creator of the heavenly lights, who does not change or cause darkness by turning." James 1:17Good News Translation (GNT)

All peoples of faith agree that so much good (even in the face of great evil) has to be from beyond humanity itself.

Have a great, wonderful and peace-filled Thanksgiving Day and remember to "Thank God!"
