To all,

We're 3 days out from Christmas....and, It's also my Anniversary to Amy, my wife of 32 years.  I have so much to be thankful for.  At the beginning of the year my glass was almost emptied, but so many family and friends hung in with me with prayers and encouragement that I can truly say, "My cup overflows!"".  Add to that the birth of my Grandson Mason as a premie with his sight challenges which seem to be headed the right direction... I can truly say that God is good.

In a world that wants to make controversy of so many things, this year I want to say "Merry Christmas to All"  with an explanation.  For all my Christian friends the greeting is self-evident, no explanation necessary.  For all others, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, believers in anything or nothing... I offer my intent.

The greeting "Merry Christmas" is a Christian's highest form of positive regard and well wishing at this time of year.  It says that the speaker hopes that the hearer experiences hope, joy, love and peace in spite of what may be happening around them.  It says "To you my friend, to you my acquaintance and to even to you who are a stranger...I wish you the best that life has to offer!"

So to all..... "Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!"

BTW, Now 6 month old Mason has now had 6 eye surgeries for both cataracts and glaucoma.  Looks like we're finally on top of things. Prognosis is still good for normal eyesight.

To all my Chapel Friends,

First of all...I'm doing Well.  A little therapy on my hands and I'll be back to as normal as I'll get. LOL!

Second... it's been a long year for many of us, but keep looking for the goodness mixed in with the bad.  God's blessings are everywhere.

Finally,  Merry Christmas.  I pray that all my friends will have reasons to be thankful for this year and the season.

Hello all, new to the Nation. Nothing is as powerful as prayer. My goal is to play CBG with my churches praise band. It may end up being a joyful noise but that's the goal. ;)
