Eric,

OK... it's always better to know what's needed than to "whistle past the graveyard". I don't know the specifics, but positive affirmation always helps... If you need to eat certain foods, it helps to like them.... Saying "I love broccolli" twenty times a day, can actually move your attitude.

Pray works too.... "Lord, bless my brother as he seeks to be faithful to make the most of the life that he has been given." In Christ's Name... Amen...

Yep, or Epiphany Sunday if you celebrated last Sunday as Christmas 2... which I did. I like stretching Christmas to the max...

The new place looks great. I've learned from experience that after I picture the best possible solution that could conceivably happen, God does me one better and blesses me in a way I couldn't have imagined. I'm looking forward to seeing your creations from the new shop!

Thanks for the kind thoughts. I was really starting to fret about my shop situation. There's hardy any money in the bank to move properly. I had just about resigned myself to put most of my big tools and supplies in storage and just make accessories working out of my bedroom - no guitars.

Sidewalk Bob has a great space in Luray, Virginia, but it would cost almost $2,000 just to truck my gear down, not counting misc. expenses.

This place that came up yesterday is owned by the new owner of my current building. He offered to build the shop to my specs, even putting outlets where I need them. He even offered his truck and manpower to move me. The shop area is 1/5th the size of my current shop, but the apartment is larger and I can set up my soldering, finishing and photo stations in the front room.

As it is, this seems like an ideal gift, unless a prayer for Luray is answered and it can easily, seamlessly happen. The new owner said he Googled me and didn't realize I was a celebrity! HAAA

The new building is unoccupied and slotted for major renovation. The landlord wants to set me up quickly - he said 3 months - so he can then set up his office/shop/storage in my shop space here. I could use all the help I can get, maybe we can mobilize some troops once a firm move-in date is chosen. The move does not have to take place in one day.

Glad you found a new place Ted, ... moving & upheavel like that can be really depressing and traumatic sometimes, hope your new place is even better and brings lots of new & good mojo into your life & work. Very best regards.
