I just bought a biggish Australian money box from the cheap shop, with an idea to cut it down for a reso.

Oh, Ive also made a case for #1, and am currently building a small 9v amp
to build into the case, so it can be a "buskers special".

Sound as good as I was hoping it would ( better actually)
My friends are very impressed with how good it sounds.

Tuning is open G, and I used the A,D & G strings from a set of medium GHS bright bronze strings I had laying around.

Hey Brian great firsty! I can see a lot of thought has gone into it! The macanudo boxes always sound soulful.
My number one has been recycled into three other guitars now (as no thought was put into it)..
