Hey,

You know your'e addicted to building cigar box guitars when.....

# 100 - you're missing a drawer pull in the kitchen cuz' you needed a kool tailpiece for a build!!!

I bet we could come up with at least  99 more- let's hear what you have to say!

#99 - you walk into Walmart, down the kitchen utensil isle, to the pans just to see if anything would make a good resonator cone.
#94     you try to figure out how to turn your first prosthetic leg into a stand up bass
#93 your dog gives you a thirsty, dirty look - but your friends admire your new reso build.

When you walk around various junk stores, tapping on items to test their sonic properties.

When you can describe the tones of various cigar boxes just by looking at them.

When you think, "ah, 30 cigar box guitars...that's what I'll build this week!"  (This is literally what I thought yesterday when I started on 30 necks.  I'm halfway done now...)

89 - you have a box full of unused 9 and 42 gauge strings left over from packs of six...)-:
#88 you hook up Shane and Steve for 30 bass and treble Diddley Bows ;-)

#87 You don't care about your Guitar Store budget anymore. If you want one - you know how to build it.

#86 There's at least one court order forbidding you entering of the Guitar Store ("how did Gretsch attach this neck to the box...")

#85 If the only tool you have is a hammer - you still tend to see every problem as a possible resonator box.

You don't have time to participate in this meaningless drivel because you have cbg's to build.

#83 you still participate, because it's easier than building a CBG when you're supposed to work.

#82 - You broke your left ring finger and the first thing you tried with the new splint was whether it would work for a slide.

It doesn't, BTW which is why I'm not wearing it.  :P

And just so you know I'm not BS'ing you. . .

#81 When you find yourself looking around every room you enter thinking what might work for hardware or a box, and you contemplate asking people you've only just met if they still want that jewellery box.

#80 - You find that very rare cigar box you've been hunting for for years to make that really special build, you buy it even though it costs £250 as it has all the original cigars in it and the seller won't split them...)-:
