This picture was a fixture hanging on my Grandmother's bathroom wall for as long as i can remember. When she died as 96 i asked for the picture and made this Uke from it, thus preserving it for a long time!

Built this one (concert length) for my dad. Simple yet elegant (at least that's what I was going for!). Here's my best secret/tip: Use nice ukulele strings. I use Aquila Nylgut strings; they make a huge difference in the sound and playability.

here is a video of a couple of folks who stopped by my booth at the sunday artisans market in Ann Arbor. They asked if I had a uke and I gave it to them and they did a 30 min concert. I think they were from the UM Music school.

This summer, my father and I had a lot of fun making a batch of ukuleles. I'm really pleased with how this one turned out :)
