Stew Mac fret saw question

I got a stew Mac fret saw for my birthday :-) what I noticed is the kerf or width of the cut is slightly wider than the pull saw I have been using. Can I use the fret wire from CB Gitty , or do I have to buy their fret wire now ? I have never had a issue with the frets staying in and I don't want to have any issue now .

Gitty's fret wire is designed for a .023 kerf, and the StewMac fret saw cuts the same size slot, as well, their fret wire has the same tang size too (.023), so all is good.
