Pre Built Necks

 

Sorry for the repeat - I has posted this to the wrong discussion group earlier.

 

Any suggestions on where to purchase a fretted CBG neck?  I prefer not to hassle with crafting and fretting a neck just yet. I aslo dont want a standard 6 string neck. Just looking for a thin 3 string fretted neck.

 

I have checked out crossroadmojo.com - but I am not sure I trust that site yet - anyone had experience there?

someone will correct me if wrong, but I think Tiny Guitars has had them once before. However I am not sure if it was a one time thing or a common occurrence. I am sure the members search will produce 'em. Other than that I am no use on the subject.

Do a search on ebay for guitar neck cigar box. See what pops up. There are usually a few on there.

To confirm what Colin said, Jay at Tiny Guitars will make one (or more) for you. His website is here. Look for the link called "Parts, kits etc". You will find necks there. Best of luck.

I suggest learning to do it yourself, much more rewarding and its not rocket surgery...
