I had a supplier from China pester me to stock and sell their products. They stopped when I told them that if I have to rework guitars, necks etc. before selling them, then there goes my profit, and reputation if I don't do a predelivery service. 

Mind you prices were so good. But then as a repairer I welcome people who buy off eBay.

I agree, but I get fun and a challenge out of using what's out there weather its an old neck or a sink strainer.

I find, as in the neck shown, that when I say this neck is from an old 6 string Epiphone or a 12 string Yamaha guitar, eyes light up with "really". If I get a 6 string commission then I build the neck, but fun stuff bought of the rack, so speak, I use recycled.

That's looking real good and will have a unique sound for sure. I've  recycled old electric and acoustic necks for some builds in the past but neck making is my favorite part of the CBG process so I only do it now if I'm given a broken git with a decent neck. Still, this is a great way to do it if anyone's put off by the fretting process. I know it took me a long time to be confident that my fret slots were correct.
