I am looking to see if there is any interest in putting together a blues album of CBG music.  I know we just did a Christmas album, but I am betting that there are some folks out there that have some blues material that is looking for a home. It could be Delta Blues, Chicago Blues, Texas Blues, Jump Blues, whatever blues.

This would be the regular "free to download" kind of album we have done in the past.

I also think it could tie into the collaboration effort that Mark Bliss has going in the recording studio group. It would be awesome to have some group efforts represented along with singles.

This is just to see what kind of interest there is. Just post here if you are inclined to participate.

hey ..   im in    ;-)  sounds like a super idea .!!!!

if i can get it done in time, i'd love to contribute, but count me as a maybe. not sure how long it would take.

Yeah, maybe Dan.  If I can use something I've already done.  Covers? Originals?  Mix?

I'll put something in if i can, though like UJ said - Covers? Originals?  Mix? (-:

wouldn't mind having a go at a Beetlejuice style free--form thing if u like (-;

Covers or originals are fine. Something you already did is fine, it doesn't have to be a new creation. I have no deadline in mind, just testing the waters to see how many people are interested.

i would very much like to participate!

I'd like to put something together from a mix down of stuff from the collaboration efforts we are working on, but it may be awhile before we have accumulated the material to really get something together. (Hint dropped carefully into the thread, LOL!)

Well, like I said, there is no deadline at this moment, so I would think you should have plenty of time to get one together.

Hi Dan,

I would love to do something

Let me know

Ian ( i will message you shortly about dhl)

Dan,

I'm in. Gonna do something with Mark and B's 12-bar track, too.

yes sounds fun

something we're working on in the recording studio group might be turning into a Blues song...we'll see where it goes and if it goes somewhere good we'll add it : -)
