Difference in tone between neck & bridge pick up

Hi people,

So can anyone tell me what the difference in tone with the bridge pick up to the neck pick up??

and if I used either bridge or neck in the middle what's that going to sound like?? which pick up would be more preferable?? Anything info on pick up placement would be helpful

Pick closer to the bridge and then pick up by the neck. The neck position has more bass. The same effect happens with pickups. You emphasize the fundamental and the lower harmonics.

Generaly, but not set in stone, the lead guitarist will play with a bridge pickup on and rythum guitar is with the neck pick up.
