Simply speaking,yes,but a lot simpler to make your pick up height adjustable,or even extend the pole pieces,something around a 1/4 in gap should be fine

so one of the pre-wired ones will do if its placed right?

cheers, my chum just told me he ordered one of those 4 string soundhole ones with tone and vol. Ive only made 1 cbg and used one of those piezo that go under the bridge.

its a 3 string set through a tin that had decks of cards in.

its aint put together yet, it makes sence when you see how the strings lay on the nut, this pic i posted just looks weird

Looking forward to a pic of this... Used a handle like this for a one string bass, and I thought about notching the back of it to do two strings like you've done here. No string tree needed.
