Bolt Fix

I don't know if this will help anyone else but I will post it just in case. On the last guitar I built I filed the grove in the bolt a little too deep for the D string and the string was hitting the fret. I used corian for the bolt and it was epoxied in place, so I didn't want to remove it and build another. I filled the grove with a drop of thick CA glue and sprayed it with a mist of activator so it wouldn't run. I was than able to re-file the groove to a lesser depth. It is transparent and worked great.

Thats an old trick that many banjo "fixers and guys have used for years.
Its a quick and cheap fix that works every time.One draw back tho is over time as the instrument is tuned, the glue will wear away.
