Another first

Hey,
I signed up a few days ago and dropped some photos in the "Introduce yourself" section. I thought I'd slip a few pics in here as well to get any feed back, good bad or ugly. This is a 6 string lap slide made from a jewelry box. I find them in the thrift stores

a lot so I use em!

That is a beauty. I use jewelry boxes too, some are real nice. Love that hole cover too, is it a belt buckle? I've been collecting some to use as hole covers. Nice work!

Thanks! yeah, it's a belt buckle, I recently picked up an actual cigar box from a swap meet (the card board type) I think I'll make a 4 stringer out of that one but I just finished another 6 string slide.
