I have no clue if it's going to work or how it'll sound compared to everyone elses, but I followed the instructions, so hopefully I'm close. I'm just finishing up putting a couple more coats on the neck and then I'll put all the pieces together and add detail where I see fit. The second one will be much easier, I can already picture it. I'll post some pics tomorrow when I have some daylight. I soldered the piezo pickup to the jack and plugged it in to test it out, and was getting a tone of feedback. Stuck the piezo under my leg and not the jack ,and the feedback stopped, so any suggestions as to what to cover the piezo with to stop the feedback, you know, besides my leg.

The 'standard' approach seems to be to encase the piezo disc in wood (ie sandwich it tight between 2 blocks) or to totally cover it with silicone. Basically you are trying to cut out the 'box noise'.
I asked a lot of guys on here when I started and now do both - I sand out the wood so the disc fits nice inside, fill it with silicone, wrap in the wood, then mount the whole thing on a bed of silicone - works a treat!
Where you place it has some bearing too, but thats more a case of trial and error...
Never compare your CBG to others. Each are unique and yours is yours. Its your sound. Sounds like you're gonna have a great box there. The second is ALWAYS easier since you learn from the first. One thing to do is to search this site for "piezo". There are a TON of posts on how to deal with piezos. Read Randy's post above. That's the trick.
Jonathan, welcome to the forum. Anxious to see the pictures. I can't answer your question because I/m the only member that has not been able to get a piezo to work yet! Piezo, 2 wires and a jack and I'm stumped!
