Hi Guys and gals...for those of you coming to the workshops, I've just had a question about what to bring. If you have cigar box guitar, do bring it along of course, but don't worry if you haven't, there will be plenty floating around I'm sure. A slide would be useful...but again there will be slides available. You can bring a regular guitar if you insist (tho' we will be tight on space!!!), as we might to a bit of 3 string Seasick Steve type stuff..harps etc will be welcome for jamming...but we do have house amps, electric and acoustic guitars, bass and mandolin...so please don't bring any amps..we simply won't have room!!! Do bring money in case you want to buy a Cigar Box guitar!!

Looks like that might have to be another car for the curry experience?

Anyhow...the event is almost upon us...so I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday...we'll do our level best to make sure you have good time.

Sounds like a plan! Im in - and I think I can vouch for Peter and Juju too :o)
Im all set, cars loaded up - does anyone have any experience of transporting CBGs on a roof rack??

For those doing the Friday Night thing, I can take 4 people and do the driving. Pick up in Kings Norton for anyone staying at The Middleton B&B...off for a curry...then back to The Tower of Song to catch "Fingerprint" rockabilly outfit? The gig is a bit of a late call so it will probably be a quiet night there...but the bass player is Ken who is running the weekend with me, and I may get called to the bandstand..who knows?

Less than one week now!! Can you give me a shout if you are in Birmingham on Friday and want to meet up for a drink and a curry. I'll try and co-ordinate a place to meet and possibly do the driving.

Getting seriously nervous about it all...but whatever happens, it will happen!!!
