thanks Mark...you'll have to play next year!and yep you have to hunt to get a stick that feels just right...I brought lots back with me, and this was "the one" : -)

Respect to you for getting out there and playing. My one possible regret is that I didn't have a go. My (rather lame) excuse is that I was fully occupied in the preceding week finishing off a guitar and I didn't have time to practice a set.

Also, I think you have a distinctive diddly bow style and I have much to learn from it...now I'm off down the local river to find me one of those magic sticks!

I'm glad that both people who were there and people who weren't are getting something from it : -)....and Frank I can put a longer bit on of my Diddley Bow for you (thought maybe that short clip would be enough,lol!)....it didn't sound quite like I wanted as there was no time to mess about with the amp settings or anything, but just glad I dared to play in front of people which I've never done before!!

What a cornucopia of clips from this year's U.K. cigar box festival. I think it really captured the laid back feel of the event whilst conveying the talent and creativity on show throughout the extravaganza!.

I quite enjoyed it. Understatement or what?
