exactly the simplicity is the point I think..especially with a D Bow...and I too find it all a great distraction from all the crap going on in life!!

Thanks - I built it to take away attention from some of the other things going on in my life - music heals, they say. It really is nothing special though, and any one of you could have built a better one....just a cigar box and a dowel...but I guess the simplicity is a big part of what makes these things cool, right ?
