Super Chikan shows off 6-string homemade guitar, rocks "Sippi Seekan Saw"

James "Super Chikan" Johnson shows off his homemade, fretless guitar. Although the instrument sports six strings, he still refers to it as a diddley bow because of the simple construction, lack of frets and the fact that he plays it with a slide.

Super Chikan is co-headlining the 2017 Clarksdale Cigar Box Guitar Fest along with Ben Prestage on Sept. 23, 2017 at the New Roxy Theater in Clarksdale, MS.  More info here.

This guy is great, seen a lot of videos of him.

Wish I could get down there to see him(not far away), but as usual when things worthy of seeing come along I don't have the funds to go.

Glad to see Mississippi get a Cigar Box Guitar Festival, Thank to C.B.Gitty and all the other sponsers for making this a reality.
