#31 You steal the bone from your dog to make a slide. (yes I did this). The dog biding her time then steals it back! You then steal it back from the dog & the dog is still trying to figure out where you have it stashed.

#31a During meetings at work you find yourself doodling plans for the next build.

#31b You sell your house to get one with a shed so you can buy more tools to build CBG's

#31c You wake up one morning wishing you owned a thicknesser and a band saw and fear that you may be turning into the man you wanted to marry...

#30 you put off finishing your summer project for your english class because you really want to start your first hand carved neck.
#29 you consider taking a screwdriver to your schools computer lab to remove the fan covers off the computers because they would make a sweet sound hole cover
#27 your wife wonders what happened to the mop and the shower curtain rod. You tell her they were abducted by a renegade producer from "Clean House."
Gees, that happened to me too.  Those bastards came in and took stuff.  Will you back me up and talk to my wife?

#28   When you find yourself reading this thread, not just for the entertainment values, but to look for other ideas that you may have overlooked for your next build
#26 all your friends on CBN act like the regulars on "Cheers:" "Hey, anyone here seen Uncle John? Nope, sorry, Missus, haven't seen him. Have you checked the garage?"

Not to hijack the OP's thread, ('cause this is some of the funniest stuff I've read in months) and to give Penny due credit for her contributions, I think the next post comes in as #20.

(see #43 on page 6 and you'll understand)

Broken pieces of glass make good wood scrapers-saves on sandpaper!

#37 You break a drinking glass and you are reluctant to throw it away in case any part of it can be used for a guitar (any suggestions welcome).
hi i bet those 59s would work real good 1,lam block where bridge goes on neck then attach trem. to block on top of box for tru neck thru i did i and you will get true sound just use good neck  and f board wood ,maple and maybe walnut lam i did 1 and my padron sounds electric it is dead acoustically plug it in and its a beast just a thought for a 1000 dollar pup it deserves the best have fun remember 98 %of sound is neck pots and a little box sound even my tuners changed sound ps my way your pullin on neck not pushing on bridge its cool make a fender style bridge with fender saddles and you will be a happy man thanks for reading Slim

i thought i saw somthing about a 59 gibson pup
