In 2006 I bought a new Toyota Corolla. We’ll, old reliable encountered a deer at high speed not too long ago. Repairs would cost more than the car was worth, so time to move on.  The car was great, reliable, great gas mileage, a daily commute, and one that had made major cross country trips.  I wanted to find a way to commemorate my experience so I made my first license plate guitar. 24 inch scale. I thought I had another veggie steamer leaf for the tailpiece, turns out I didn’t.  But I had picture hanging wire I twisted into the tail, working so far. Except for a tuner that broke a sprocket tooth it is a fitting remembrance.

Very Cool, sorry gircyou lost. Some of get attach to a certain vehicle, they kind of take on another's personality. Very cool tribute

Sorry to hear, it’s heartbreaking to lose a reliable car. At least you’re alive, that could’ve been fatal!
