Thumb on 3-rd string or on 2-nd and 3-rd strings is a feature of balalaika. It's very unusual for guitarists. ))

That song actually borrows from traditional european style music right, so the balalaika is perfect for this one. Great arrangement Pavel, an awesome version!! I had to hit refresh & watch again :D
