there are a lot that are not real users -- spammers that set up users selling internet drugs.

well this doesnt seem to be the best place to push viagra..as i have a constant hard-on from lookin at everyone's pics/vids!!

Hello,
My name is John, I believe I have just been bitten by this Cigar Box Guitar bug. It is a sound that I have loved for as long as I can remember. I believe I first fell in love with the sound when I saw the movie Crossroads. Just wanted to introduce myself. I am looking into building my first cigar box guitar as soon as I feel I know what I am doing. Thanks to those who are hosting this fourm, it will help me a lot, hopefully one day I will have the knowledge to be able to help someone out like you guys are doing here.

Thanks again and looking forward to a new future in music.

Yeah ... there is only about 15 real people here. Oh and 3,999 bots of one sort or another. 5 of those 15 are the "Hello, I'm loving to see you " types, 2 are sock puppets, 1 is a troll.
I'm beginning to wonder if Shane is even real . Or me for that matter, that matter, that matter .... bzzt
Maybe this should be "Stepford CBG nation" !

I'm a new guy also, waiting for my first CBG (3 string) which is being built as we speak by Jay at tinyguitars.com.

I play a little guitar and blues harp, but this will be my first attempt at slide.  Inspired by Sea Sick Steve!
