No problem Bear!

The DPDT switch is one with 6 connectors at the back (it's a double on-on switch).

That sounds complicated Francois and I’m not sure what a DPDT switch is. I’m still massively new to the electronics side of amp and guitar building, though I’m better than I was with the guitar building side. Let me know how it works out if you try it please?

I just had an idea you might want to exploit on your build.

If you put a DPDT switch on the input to send the guitar to the amp on the left channel and feed the output back into the right channel, you'll get an instant overdrive! And when the switch is in the other position, it sends the guitar to the right circuit directly so you get a clean sound...

Might be worth trying :-)

I still have a bit of loose change on my Paypal, so I might splurge on one of those circuits to try it out :-)

Hey Francois. I tested a 3.5 watt amp unit I’m building first with a 1.6 watt speaker and the volume was actually pleasantly surprising. I’ll post a video of the finished item using this one when I’ve built it so you can hear. Thanks for your comment and good to “meet” you.
