First gig.....talent show.
The place where I work every year puts on a company picnic...this year it is at the local bowling alley...Needless to say, they are having a bit of a talent show....
I told my boss there is a 95% I would do it and a 5% chance I won't.
I am not worrying about messing up or anything, and I really don't think we win anything, it's just to have fun.
I mean, come on, a guy that can play the licence plate, drums and somewhat sing all at the same time has to be talented right?
I will say though, I am betting that there are more there to play or sing, there are some very talented people where I work with.
I will of course, be taking the whole rig, drums, amp, the whole 9 yards....
Nervous? A little bit, I have not played much in while, I am thinking about doing "Keep your hands to yourself" since I know the words the best....nothing to fancy....

Good luck and go for it :) It takes a lot of bottle to get up in front of people but I'm sure that if you have a good time your audience definitely will.

Go for it! You'll probably be the most unique act there. I'm going on stage with my CBG for the first time tomorrow night. Can't wait. If I mess up I'll figure it's good training and just keep on working at it. See Ya!
