We are planning an off site club outing sometime in October. The club will provide food&drink at local establishment and the group will leisurely wander around a dozen huge antique shops in the town of Alton IL. One of the few places on earth we can still respectfully haggle. Here's a few store fronts.

OK, Date will remain the same but the location will most likely be revised. I'm looking over into St. Louis area for affordable shopping pleasures.

Date has been confirmed,October 6, 2018 on a Saturday in the city of Alton IL. Next I will be contacting and scouting the area to ensure we have a great experience. I'm looking for a meeting place and also a great food establishment we can sit and enjoy food & drink. More information to come!

Yep, we've been saving all the vendor money each year from the festival and are looking for creative ways to spend it on the club. Last thing we bought were club T-shirts now on sell for $15. Every Christmas we have a variety of gift exchanges. Sometimes we'll have a builders contest with prizes. This October we voted as a group to use a small portion of our funds on an outing. I personally am hoping to find a couple silver forks, small glass bottles, and any other inspiring objects that will end up in a build. Steve's antiques has three floors and a back lot with stuff heaped up, never yet sorted through. This place is a treasure trove!
