Thanks, Wes.  Have not found one and now I am kind of in the mood to try making my own.   4 inches of rain yesterday in about an hour -- and the shop got an inch deep in water!  Have it almost dried out.

Wow, folks.  Thanks for all the kind words.  I truly love to build.  I lay awake about 3:30 AM last night thinking about how to make a round wood frame banjo like AGP just made.  My skills are mediocre, but I get some good players now and then.  

Dave is a better builder than I am and I am honored that he wants it.  He can have this one for a while to play and modify to fit his desires --  then he can pass it on to someone else.  That gives me the opportunity to make more.

Unc, do you sell these? I would love to have a cigar box guitar built by you. I have wonderful ones from some of the old gard builders like Diane from Chicago and Kirk Withrow, a diddley bow from Joker and a banjo from Witchita sam. Would love to own one of your builds. Let me know if you could make me one up and for how much? No rush, whenever you get inspired.

I like the DGB tuning too. It’s my favorite lap slide tuning. Very good for bluegrass tunes. I cut my slide teeth on that tuning. Big Grin Uncle!
