Andries my best guess would be paint it with high heat paint then do a tee shirt transfer with parchment paper. or just paint it. I would ask pick he is really good with this kinda stuff.

Been working on similar idea recently. I was going to go the decoupage route.

Hi there Wade ! Can you elaborate some more on the decoupage route?

I started a few designs based off of old traditional matchbooks. My plan was to simply  print the design out and mod podge it. Maybe a few coats of poly on top of needed.

I see im still thinking durabillety, in the article on the webside by LACE  they  talk about slipping on a cover, but they dont say how and whit what? The head of Europe writes me that they will bee availeble in europe whit in two weeks, and there Headquarter is in Greece for pietsake! so ill wait and see! Thanks for the info and input !

Im in the proces of contackting the LACE PEOPLE But  things don't go that fast in pick-up land , i did get some more reactions thow, lot of people like them and think the sound perfect but think they look ugly, Now thats someting to be done  about,  i say, whit all the creatif Power going on on this Nation there must be a way to solve this ,like image cast in rezin to replase the red and white logo ,it has to stand wear and tear of the use of vibrating strings and the ruffle of the play of them, dont think a sticker will cut it, but a more sturdy solution must be posseble ! Any one ?

I'll be buying one in the next few weeks and once I see it in person I'll come up with something.  : )

some more possebilleties for design change!

Can't you just put a piece of nice laminate over top of it?

I was thinking about making a copper cover.

They do custom ingraving maybee nice ,they come in copper as well i believe, from what i gather on the USA site they talk about sticking your own Matchbook on there, but it does not say how!

Here is a more exspaining info on the offered possebilleties consening the Matchbook pick-up from the Lace webside, the head of europe Lace contacted and they will bee availeble in europe whitin two weeks he wrote me,so, there is some results in the quest !!
