I've seen the video on adding a gain control to the Artek amp. How about adding a tone control?

I don't know the amp but my assumption would be to wire it to the amp's volume just like a guitar tone pot.

Korrigan is right. Follow the volume/tone wiring in this amp schematic. A B100K pot should work fine with a .1 cap.
