Small/Easy Wood working Projects

Hi Guys,

After building a new neck for my cigar box guitar, I ended up with a leftover 1x2x4 piece of oak and a 1/4x2x3.

I would like to know if anyone of you have built something else than a guitar neck with those materials. I only have those pieces of wood and I want to find a small and kind of easy wood working project to work with.

If you have any idea, let me know ! Thanks

Cut the thicker piece to 3 ", rout out the inside, use the thinner piece as a lid and voila, a little box for all your picks.

You could make a cbg wall hanger, cut the 1" piece into a "C" for the hanger, and screw it to the 1/4" piece which is the mounting plate.
