I got these tuners as a gift they say
18:1 ratio 10mm 13/32
never-mind much more confusing than it should have been

I just got some old Grover tuners. I called them directly. They told me 25/64", which  your 13/32" would be 26/64". Pretty dang close.

Just go to the hardware store and ask for a 13/32" bit.

With my Grovers they told me same size hole will work for the push in bushings. Maybe call the company, if you know what brand they are.

PRACTICE IN A PIECE OF SCRAP WOOD!!

Thank you!!!
Practice on a scrap = Great advice!!!

I have a cheap set of calipers (harbor freight of course).  They go on sale from time to time, and it's nice to just double check...

The simple answer for situations like this is to get get a drill bit gauge:

Probably one of the most used tools in my shop.

You can get cheaper ones made of plastic and most hardware stores should have them. Be sure to get one with both SAE and Metric equivalent markings.

I've had a drill bit gauge for years and I USE IT religiously everytime I pull out a drill bit for anything.

I just tried my 25/64" that Grover told me to use.

IT'S TOO BIG!!

I sure am glade I used a piece of scrap would. Now I'm out $8 on an odd ball drill bit.

Clark has a great idea of using a drill gauge. Then you know for sure. And if you don't want to buy one, just go to the store and stick your tuner in it real quick,,,,lol.

Let us know what size you end up with. Mine ended up being a 3/8" that I had the whole time,,,lol.

I will. Haven't gotten there yet but Scrap for sure. I have one of those step bits cheapo type. I might try measuring if that works with some tape. Either way I'll get back here when I do
Well it ain't 3/8ths. Larger than that. Still using scrap and can't figure it out.

3/8=6/16=12/32=24/64

Did you try 3/8.

Just take your tuner to a hardware store a stick it in a drill gauge. Then buy a drill bit.

25/64 bit needed. Oh well. I'll get a drill guide gauge while I'm looking for this bit..

I could be wrong, but I don't think the step bit will have enough length of the size you need to get all the way through. Of course go in from each side of the board. But. You do have scrap to play with,,,lol. Good luck.
