We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

So far it's a go for me this Sat! Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

thank you sir!

Having such a long drive and already being out there for the great festival, Egyptpunk and I are naot making the trek today. We are planning on being there next month!

Hello everyone. I joined the site and found this post just too late to come today. I live in Florissant MO and would love to attend the meetings. Just started making CBGs this year, so have a lot to learn. I have also made one suitcase bass. Looking forward to meeting you next month. Should I bring my amp?

Welcome Jerry,

The club meets every 3rd Saturday from 9Am - 11AM coffee sodas are free. We wrap it up by 11AM because that's when the restaurant opens. We had a great turn out today today, met a few new members. Always interested in whats others are building or the beginning of a build. Plenty of experienced builders willing to share tips. Open jams are common for who ever wants to join in. There are plenty of plug ins, so feel free to bring a small amp.

What the hell up with the new format kind cheap looking

: > ) Mr. C. I was expecting plaid. But the light and airy look will do. I think there's a thread already started for the new look.  Thanks again for tuning me on to this tuning. Having a blast with it! Got to start making vids of the stuff I come up with.

Be awesome to see you there next month Jerry. Be cool to have a bass player on board!

Bummer you and Ebyptpunk didn't make it Scott. Be cool to see ya'll again.

I had a great time today as well. Enjoyed talking to the newbies and listening to everyone play. And then there was lunch after, never had a bad meal at the Roadhouse.

Be great to meet you next month Jerry, see ya there.

These were being tossed away! Whoa now!

Someone tossed all of em? I can understand the banjo... but all those boxes???? :  )

139 boxes. Some really sweet ones in that stack.

John brought in the best box at the club, I've ever seen.
