We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

Thanks for the compliment dog!

You're welcome!

Yep!  I had a total blast today...wish we could do it more often.

Have give it up for the lady in the blues she could belt it out .I'll try to figure out a simple fiddle tune by the fest play with a banjo player .soldger of joy looks easy enuff

I have a banjo...I could try to learn it.  Or, if you already have a banjo player, I could learn it on Mandolin or Dulcimer?  Let me know...

Blue shirt guys name was Glenn, hails from the east side of the river. He did a great job on his first, especially considering he did it all on his own. He wasn't aware of the CBG community to ask for help, but now  He's a card carrying member. Addicted, that is.

2015 is upon us! The frenzy is escalating!

Looking for participants in our annual fundraising this year for PLAY IT FORWARD STL. A non profit that uses donation toward supplying under funded school music programs with the equipment needed for the children's musical needs.

Feel free to contact Myself or Gary Herget & Bill Kunz with any CBG donations or money. We also have A swampwitch guitar up for raffle. Contact for details, it's an awesome package.

Here is 2015 Swamp Witch Guitar.
anonymous pick donated these T-shirts and guitar to help raise money for St. Louis MO. Play It Forward non profit organization.
The funds raised are used to purchase band equipment and other musical instruments to under funded school districts. We have a really cool way to have fun and win win win.

It may be hard to believe, but this Saturday is the 3rd Saturday already. It came up quick this month. Had a really great group last time, hope we can do that again, see ya' there.

We had a great time today. Clark, Russ and Glen were jammin out, sounding great. Some new friends dropped in and enjoyed all the activity goin' on. Gettin' ready for St.L Fest, gonna be great!

Damn!  Well, me and the family are going to the fest for sure...it will be awesome.  RAIN OR SHINE!!!!
