California Plate guitar

California Plate guitar

Oak neck and heel. Home made hollow box. 1/4 inch plywood top and bottom. Holes cut into top below saddle and above.

Recessed volume control. Gitty six string pre-wired mag pup. Purchased pre fretted walnut fret board.

Mini fret markers on the side. GDG. Surprisingly good acoustic tone and good plugged in too.

Action good for fingering or sliding.

Thanks guys.   I think I will put a Fender style string retainer on.   There is still a hint of buzz.
