Very nice looking build. I like the scrolling you did at the end of the finger board.

Details: Handmade maple neck. Rosewood laminated peg-head with bird's-eye maple inlay. Birds-eye maple fretboard.

Rosewood and maple laminated heel. Handmade rosewood bridge. Hand cut bone saddle and nut. Custom made box.

My submission is R.Crumb's Devil Girl. She has two Soprano necks (legs) and is hand painted and made with poplar wood from an old dresser frame, as well as a cigar box.

OMG!!!

That looks feakin incredible.

And my final entry, a mezzosoprano ukulele made with a Kinky Freidman CIgar box.  Known far and wide as the Texas Jew-kulele.  Rosewood fretboard/bridge, bone nut and saddle.  Piezo pickup.  Real Chutzpah.

That is an awesome box.

Where did you find it?

I love all your builds. I can tell from your pics that they are well designed and must play and sound good.

They look great too.

Got them off of ebay some time back.  Scarce as hen's teeth.

Soprano ukulele. Punch cigar box with bottom of box removed and replaced with Alaska yellow cedar to become the top of the instrument. I really like the oval sound holes found on Gypsy guitars and thought this would be a great opportunity to try. Mahogany neck, padauk fret board Martin style, ebony nut and bridge with a piezo rod pickup.

Beautiful! Simple, Elegant, Classic!

I agree with Dave. It is very elegant looking.

                                                                              'Magic Box'

This box was damaged so I 'rescued' it and created a 'levitating resonator'.

It's concert size with abalone dots and black nylon GHS strings.

Love the levitating sound board!
