We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

egyptpunk Sounds like a neat project.

Is the meeting still at 9:00 am?

yes, starts 09:00 AM and ends by 11:00AM this 17th, Saturday.

we might be a bit late, but we'll be there

Sounds good.

Great meeting everyone finally.  I look forward to seeing you all at the fest in June.

Great to finally get to meet you Sean, thought your leaf guitar was really cool!

Was totally cool to see and meet everyone! Had a BLAST! Stayed after and tried some food. NICE! Then walked to two different music stores. Found a thin wall Clayton glass slide. Way cheaper than EBay or on line. Totally awesome! Smilingdog, you could not have found a better place to have this!!!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the fest!

It was great to see everyone interacting and sharing with each other. The old were teaching the young, and the young were teaching the old alot of things. We didn't get up on the stage and do any performing but that doesn't always have to happen, maybe next time it will. It was great to meet everyone and spend time admiring all of your cool creations.

We had loads of fun! It's always cool spending time with good people who love to make music as much as I do, and I saw a lot of great instruments! I can't wait until the festival!

Sorry I missed the last meeting, sounds like another fun time! I spent the entire week in Santa Cruz, CA visiting my daughter and grandkids :)

Santa Cruz...that's my hometown!  I miss it.  The weather is perfect this time of year.
