the black one I have might become a reso bass. I was thinking baritone on the others...{shrugged shoulders}.

The edge boxes are great!

The sides and lid are thick rough slices of cedar and he back is ply?
They've got a very nice warm sound IMHO, and more volume than you'd expect. I know ted also really likes these boxes

I'm glad to hear someone say that these Edge boxes sound good.  I'm in the process of making a 3-stringer out of a Battalion box and was wondering if the cedar was too thick.  I'm hoping to auction/raffle it off at an upcoming charity art event, so I'd really like it to sound good.

You're right PK, Ted Crocker does like them. This is one of his. I think it recently came back on sale at $995.

Good morning, Colin. I used an Edge box like the one you posted the link to to make a stomp box. It works great.
