We are organizing a CBG workshop held one Saturday a month at the 61 roadhouse & kitchen in Webster Groves MO. (St. Louis Area).  This is also the home to the St. Louis CBG festival each year.

Bill Kunz of 61 has been generous in offering us a place to meet, practice, discussed ideas and what ever members decide to do with the time. Gary Herget and myself are contacts for this club and are open to ideas to make this a fun club. As soon as we have commitment from members, we can set up a Saturday each month to meet mornings. We haven't set a day or start time as of yet. We need to know who can commit at least to a start up and discuss as a group when and how we want to run this. Possibilities are great!

Small amps? Cool! I have an older Fender all tube Champ I can bring.

Hopefully I'll get the hang of playing this fretless. I might cheat and bring a six string just so I can play along.

Hopefully we'll still be able to talk builds and techniques. As much as I would love to have a three hour jam session still think it's important to help us newbes out.

Looking forward to meeting ya Sean. Hope you get to doing well soon!

Today is Tuesday, the next meet is Saturday. Don't forget starting at 9:00am see ya there.

Rodger dodger on the Club Meet this weekend 22nd or Saturday 9:00Am

Yes Smilingdog.. NINE O'clock. Thats NINE or 9 A.M.  or 0900. Not 9:45. it's NINE O'clock  That would be 3 hours before NOON or 3 hours after 06:00 a.m. Also, that is central daylight saving time or DST. NOT MOUNTAIN time.. which is one hour behind our time.  SOOoooooo, next month be there at NINE O'clock or 0900 or 09:00 A.M  OR next month we will jump you at the door and rob you of your cheap imitation ROLEX watch which you evidently don't look at anyway OR forgot to set it ahead one hour.  DAMMIT boy...Whew.. I feel better now.   LOL.... See ya next month.  (at 0900)  :=)

HA ha!

Missing the 9 was to my disadvantage for sure because once we got warmed up, the band practice was invaluable. I was using a sun dial that got bumped.

Well It's official. I'm scheduled to work this weekend. No way out of it. Ya'll have a blast! Learn some tips, tricks and blues. I'll have a lot to catch up on next month! See ya then.

The good thing is we'll be doing this once every month.

9AM?!?

If I'm up I might see ya!

9:00 is when we stumble in. it's till 11: so you can drop in anytime between. Come check it out and meet new faces in the CBG community of St. Louis.

Hey Craig good to hear from you. We start at 9:00am and go till 11:00am or so, you are welcome to drop in at any time.

Looks like our maintenance department found a way out of having everyone show up to work tomorrow. Don't fix the machine. Looking forward to seeing everyone! Wont have the rat box. Poor thing is getting worst. I'll bring a standard git to play along with.
