Word, Kevin. About the only thing I'd add to the mix is to relax and keep things in perspective. Remember -  It's a stick and a box.

 I am entering searches in the box and I am getting the following:

Our apologies - we couldn't find any discussions matching your search.

Suggestions:

• Make sure all words are spelled correctly
• Try different or more general keywords                                                                                                                                                I Know I have found things on here and I am going back to re read or look for new stuff Is it me or what? Is anybody getting this or is it just me? I enter F holes and I am getting this. What quit? How do I fix it. I want my first build to go well and the people here know what to do when and how to do it. I need this fixed if it is on my end.   (Update: ) posted this Saturday

It must be your browser, Bama. I'm running a really old version of Safari and the CBN search engine seems to work fine.

I get the same thing as Bama on IE, Firefox and Chrome.

Now, I can get pictures and videos to show up, but if I want to do a forum search (meaning I click on Forums on the bar up top, then go to the search box underneath, and search for a discussion), I get that same error message.

Sorry about hijacking your thread Voodoo Rat but the thread was about "newbies", which I am, but I was using search engine fine and it quit. I have tried on Google Chrome and Firefox and no luck, but now I know it is me I can work on it.

I found the same issue when I did a search....
Which prompted me asking a tech question...which in turn I was rewarded with great advice.
I'm sure the same questions get asked over and over, so I'm appreciative of those that offerd advice.
Searching is a whole lot easier though.

Since you are having the same problem with the search box on the left I will alert you to another search box. At the top right of the page above the word Nation next to the sign out. I got auto sign in so I never noticed the search box there. I got my wife to join and I used her computer using Windows 8 and the one on the left didn't work there either. The top right box works for me,try that one.

This is what I get when I try a search in the forum section. 

Keep in mind, this is for discussions only.  

For whatever reason, I can search pictures and videos just fine
