One of my favorite things about this site is looking at the photos of peoples projects.  I love when people post pictures of the projects that they are working on and I love that people show pictures of their progress and the tricks they use to accomplish the end result. Infact I like progress pics the best. That being said I hate when people post 40 pictures of the same build all at once and force everyone elses pictures out of the most current 100 photos.

What is an appropriate ammount to post at one time?

I limit my picture posts to 6 at a time as a matter of courtesy for the above reasons, and one video at a time - also doing this attracts a lot more views and comments!  (-:

5 or 6.. Take a look at mine. I only put one then comment some more from my photobucket so you see a few angles but is all only one page. Dunno why more don't do that, I been doing it for couple years at least. Otherwise you got too many pics by the time you built a few. Guys are proud of their stuff and want to show it off but some go a bit crazy huh

this is the way to do it. i know if i click the pic i'll get all the detail shots along with it.

"if"???? Dammit ya scot bastard if I put a pic on the internets you better flippin click it or I'll wrap ye in stinky haggis aye

mmm, haggis. now your making me feel hungry...

That's a good idea.  I have been using albums, but I'll switch to your method.  Thanks for sharing.

I fully agree, why would someone post 20 pic`s of the same build when 3-5 is good. I mean if there was goobs of cool details on a build i could see a few more showing the " eye candy " but 3-5 is good. Figure if someone wanted to post 20 pic`s of their build do a blog instead or an album. For the most part any build has a basic peghead, neck, box and the extra`s. If one poses the build so the side, top and rear can be seen thats plenty then maybe 1-2 pic`s of some cool " eye candy " that is on it.

I agree, unless there's pretty women tastefully posing with your build - in that case, post a few extra!

Amen

Yeah, I got bounced way down the board the other week by a poster who runs a professional business making and selling CBGs. Half of the "photos" were corporate logos and website screen grabs!

I reckon 5 or 6 is the maximum to post at one time.

Oops.
