Sorry Derek today its the minor scale now that I think about.   It's 23 inch. I think the old tenors are 23 and modern are a 1/4 or 1/8 shorter.

Thanks Richard, just mic and preamp no effect has a good solid sound with no hole but it might get a under saddle pickup
