Bug,  slow is hard for some of us.   It is for me.  I felt like I started off poorly at KC fest.  Partly due to not being able to hear myself well, partly due to being a bit intimidated by the great players before me and partly due to nerves and playing too fast.   I think I got better and slower as I went along and I felt like on my last song that I slowed way down and was singing to the guitar and playing my very best.

Your stuff has gotten to be excellent and part of that is your ability to play fast.   But if you can slow some of those same songs down, man you will be even better.

This performance here is excellent.  And I heard from others that you kicked ass and took names at that last fest.

Yeh I tried to mix it up and should have slowed down a bit in places, I had a bit of a rock fixation on the day..

I have lots of covers and song to mix up now so will learn from it. Thanks for the tips its great to work with your guys as mentors..each day I learn something from here.

Bug, it can be good when someone has a 'signature sound'.  But I like it better when someone can play ten songs and have at least 2 and better 3 different kinds of sound.  This sound will be so good within your mix.

Yup.  Bug.  Silent hit the head on the nail.   Such a good old timey and mountain style music.   High 9s for song, playing and singing.   Lovely stuff.
