Nessessity the mutha of invention

I love the creativity and inginuity of the folks that call this place home.  The first cbg's  seem to have been made out of the only available materials.  I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a minimalist build challenge.  Rules and such outta be determined by greater minds than me. Just a thought from a rookie.

My suspicions are that our cbg fore father's brought forth these instruments with not much less than a jackknife.  That being said minimalism/found- scrounged materials could be a mind stretch at least as I'm starting my fifth build, second with electronics.

pretty cool idea. I am not sure though if there are not some here who build minimal all the time. I work kind of primitive due to having no space and very limited tools. So I would be up for it.
