Previously I'd just done the neck cut-out and threaded in a 'neckstick', which results in a very neat job, but it's very fiddly to do. You need to be very careful cutting the tin as it's very flimsy an easy to make a mistake that will ruin the can, either by cutting off-line or by bending and distorting it.
