How did you learn about Cigar Box Nation?

How many instruments have you built so far?
I’ve rebuilt one cigar box guitar and I’ve done two amps and a Psycho Box Kit. I’m a beginner, but I love playing and learning new songs.
What do you find most interesting about cigar box guitars? (If you do not enter something meaningful here (at least one sentence long), your membership may be rejected as a spam/bot fake account).
To be honest I bought two CBG’s back in 2012 at Bonnaroo in Tennessee because of a strange feeling when I saw one being played by John Nickel of Nickel CBG. The gitty’s ended up sat in my Special F/X Studio until about 2 months ago when I did a clean out. Something inside me just wanted to see if I could actually make a tune and I haven’t put it down since. I feel drawn to playing it like a drug or a crazy ex girlfriend you can’t get enough of. Something about the raw sounds of the gitty has me addicted. I never played a guitar or any other instrument in my life, but I’ve taken to playing the gitty like a fish to water. Building and crafting new gitty’s and accessories is my hobby now I guess. When I’m not writing comedy or filming, I always have my gitty on hand to practice and just jam out.
