Thanks John

Food for thought. Think Im gonna borrow a couple of my sons pedals to see if I can get the sound I want. He has a Fender 63 reverb pedal which may be the right thing.

Well John, ya wouldn't want to be standin' at those crossroads in rush hour man!!!!

Unfortunately I missed Boxstock but I want to go to the next UK festiavl. We had a small gig with tintone army and aboycalledstu in London recently which was fun - Ill let you know the next one.

Checked out that amp youve got and seems like a lot of amp for £99. Im looking for something to mike up - at the moment Im going straight into laptop. I have a small fender champion 600 with a valve pre amp which has a really nice sound for a regular gittar but no effects. Are you happy with yours? - would you recommend or go for a multi effects pedal?(which I've never been keen on).

Hi John

about the boxes pictured. I'm across in North Norfolk, so in the UK. I've literally just collected them from the auction yesterday so haven't really gone through them fully.
I have a show to get out of the way this weekend (we deal in vintage eyewear) so once that's over and done with I'll have time to go through them and takes some photo's and measurements etc.
What I can do is send you some pictures of the boxes across as I do so if you email me at darren@deadmensspex.com . Also let me know what sizes are best for you.

There are a lot of boxes. I'll be keeping some but the rest will be up for grabs (we need the room :oD )

All the best
Darren

Hi John,

Just wanted to thank you for the nice compliments. Sorry it took me so long, but I have been away a while. You have a very distinctive voice, and I enjoy listening to you.

Have a great night

John,

Long time no hear from! How you been? Thanks for the comments on Boneyard Strut. I find that if I sit down for a 2-3 nights in the quiet hour after everyone's gone to bed, just plinking away, things like this begin to appear under my fingers. I haven't been so musically creative since I took up the guitar at age 17! And lyrics seem to sprout out of nowhere when I get on CBN and see some vids or hear other people's tunes. Working on getting the Townes Van Zandt CBG tribute album in the can, and continually writing lyrics, song snippets and full songs for my debut album, which I'm scheduling for year-end. Got another one in the works that sounds vaguely CCR / John Fogerty-ish. Will be traveling to Poland and the US later this summer for Little League  baseball, as my 12-year-old son made the All Star Travel Team; wish we could stop off in England, catch a blues festival, and pay you a visit. One day.

Thanks John, that gitty actually belongs to his sister's husband, he was there for a visit, and seemed to enjoy playing it---I think I need to build him something even crazier---he's getting pretty good!!
