Eric , I live about 90 miles from the Fla. line and about 90 miles from Savannah . I new you would get addicted to this thing , It's hard not to ... You really don't need a lot of tools to get started either . All my stuff was made with crude hand tools (jig saw , hand saw , drill , and a hand sander ) that I got at a pawn shop . Hope you can get a strumstick , if not , Just make you one :-) Until later keep looking and learning ...

Eric, Glad to see another GA . person on the nation. It's a great place but it can get addicting. Lots of good people here too with some great ideas and skills . If you want to know anything about a CBG just ask ,someone around here can help or help you find the answer... Lots to do on here too . you can spend hours ,DAYS just looking at videos,pictures and reading !!! So start building and have fun ,That's what it's all about ...

I'm glad that you decided to build. As you go thru it, if you need any help, just email me. For the first build, I'd recommend a simple "neck thru" construction. This is the simplest and strongs and easiest to get right the first time.

Eric, I might have a strummer for you. It's a 20 inch scale, built on a Padron Box (bottom) with a poplar neck and a mahogany fretboard. I could send it to you for $95 (freight included).... It is fairly loud, with a medium action. Here are some pics...
