Alice: DGBE tuning is standard 6 string tuning from the thin E going up to the 4th right? If so, I like, "Waren Haynes guide to SLIDE GUITAR" It is to play a 6 string in standard tuning, but it starts out by practicing the bottom 4 strings that you asked about, learn those RIFFS and youll be ready to rock.
