Thanks Peter, Bluesheart. Now i'm building a fiddle thats wider and shapely. Made from a 2x10 doug fir plank cut to shape and hollowed out with my bandsaw. Cedar top and White Pine back. It's coming nice, just glued the back on and waiting for glue to set. The case for the 2x4 fiddle is done except the antiquing.

Thanks Pick, Uncle. I worked on the fiddle case today and braced the top. Looks odd, but it's different. Lining tomorrow. Music tonight at a band mate's home so i can test her out with the band.
