It uses a gramophone head the fret wire comes out of where the needle would be and is bent to form a suspended bridge, so any vibrations get amplified by the mica and send down the horn.

Would you mind sharing your mechanism for connecting the bridge to whatever you are using for the resonating surface? I'd love to know how this works, mechanically speaking.

I don`t think you should call it a Stroh being there`s a patent on that.
